In all our monthly KP graphs L1 is the sentiment or Input Trigger, L2 the Reactive Power, L3 as
Regulator, L4 as Modulator which could be constant for a day and only one
or more of L5 levels as Sub-Modulator. The movement of the Index is based primarily on the power struggle between
L1 to
L3. L1 = ----- L2 = ----- L3 = ----- L4 = ----- L5 = ----- L6 = ----- |
|
Sentiment L1 could have power value as Positive, Negative or Neutral (
power value of zero ). Reactive power L2 can also have the above power
values or attributes. Regulator L3 can have the similar power values or
attributes. L1 is fixed, L2 is modified by L3 or at times L1 & L2 can change direction or polarity. L4 modifies L3 and in turn L2 stands modified, simple interactive maths is involved to move the index up or down. |

Stock markets are lucrative by imagination but elusive due to our own actions. |
| Index related products can be used to earn using KP Graphs. Index futures are high risk products resulting in unlimited loss or gains. Options have a limited loss to the extent of the premium paid whereas the gains could be unlimited. |
| Call option is to be used if you have analysed that the index will be rising for the next few days or till a major changeover of level occurs. If the index is to rise then you are going long using a Call option. The variation in call values is not the same as the variation in the index futures. |
| Put option is to be used if you have analysed that the index will be falling for the next few days or till a major changeover of level occurs. If the index is to fall then you are going short using a Put option. The variation in Put values is not the same as the variation in the index futures. |
| The Calls and Puts loose value overnight ie. are de-rated due to Time-Value. It is generally preferred to buy a Call or buy a Put for the current value of the index and generally termed as in-the-money as their response to the index is faster than others. |
| The other consideration should be the brokerage and taxes which are the fixed costs that need to be factored for the minimum points the Call or Put has to rise to make some money. |
| Approach to money making has to have some semblance of discipline and a systematic plan to first make money equal to the amount you would have to invest in buying a Call or Put. The next step would be to make twice the amount then thrice and so on. After you have made 5 times the amount required to buy a Call or Put only then you should increase the number of Call or Puts to 2 and continue with this for some time till you gain confidence and not over confident to spoil all the gains. |
| The amount required to buy 1 contract of index future has to be earned by using the Call and Put options. The actual earnings has to be 3 times the amount required to buy 1 contract. |
| Please note that when a Call is bought it is to be covered by selling a Call for the same strike price, same is true for a Put. You should never Sell a Call or Put by itself as it amounts to Call writing or Put writing as you have not become an expert in the same. Please do remember that our objective is to earn and keep on earning due to the index. All other issues are not in the scope of our discussion due to lack of expertise in the said subject of Call or Put writing. |
| The following graph is a sample. The actual graphs in the download section are larger in size and fit A3 paper size and are easy to view. |

| L1 the sentiment in the above graph is positive, L2 is giving -2 whereas L3 is +8. The difference between L2 & L3 is +6. The reference level L3 is brought down to value of +6. The L4 values are again reducing the values of L3 from +6 to respective powers of the L4 level. In turn the children of L4 ie L5 and the children of L5 ie L6 are showing a congestion below L4 and at times in the negative zone, all this has created a negative bias till April 12, 2013. From April 15 we find that L2 has turned negative with -4 and L3 is -5 whereas all the L4 levels are now trying to reduce the negative component of L3 and in turn of L2 with the help of L5 and L6 levels. Reduction in positive sentiment and reduction in the negative sentiment causes the direction of the index in an upward or downward direction. |
